The Becasine has been tested for breakage in theTechnical Centre for the Woodworking Industry in Brussels, WOOD.BE

 

A weight of 100 Kgs has been pushed 50.000 times on the seat in order to test the suspension and the mechanical strenght of the frame. After the test, no damage whatsoever was detected.

 

The breaking point of different arms was measured.

The original arms were redesigned and plain ash was used instead of laminated birch. As a result, the breaking point went up from 61 kgs to 400 kgs.
